Grahpic Novel Complete!

Here is a small excerpt (page 1-22) from my proudest work to date, Our Children Would Not Kill Us. It is adapted from Kathryn Kuitenbrouwer's published short story with the same name (read the full story here on Joyland.

Here is a brief synopsis:
Vulnerable and anxious, the author-heroine in Our Children Would Not Kill Us watches her son’s hockey game, and reads Flaubert’s St Julian Hospitator to bide the time she must wait for news on her latest manuscript. But how real is the hockey arena? How real the Flaubert story? For the protagonist it is all simply desire. The imagined and the real bleed into pure narrative. This is the story she tells about herself. In Our Children Would Not Kill Us Fiorentino and Kuitenbrouwer’s elegantly twine the imagined to the tangible.

Enjoy!
